Susan E. Mazer and Dallas Smith are internationally known performers, composers, and recording artists. They have both traveled the path of classical training and performance, making the transition to the New York stage with world-renowned jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal in 1984. Collaborating since 1984, Mazer and Smith create some of the finest contemporary instrumental music available. Their compositions for harp and woodwinds merge the aesthetics of jazz, classical, and world music into an experience that feeds both the intellect and spirit. Extending beyond the boundaries of genre, Mazer and Smith’s unique sound has a richness in melody, rhythm and sonority.
